AGAINST ALL TERROR

Thursday, September 14, 2006 at 02:09PM

It is worth stating five years after 9/11 that whereas quite rightly trade unionists should be against Blair and Bush's terror in Iraq and against Israeli terror in Lebanon we should also be against all forms of terror. This means we have to say unequivocally that we are against the bombing of innocent civilians whether in New York, Madrid, London or for that matter Israeli citizens being fired on by Hezbollah.

Just because we are against Bush and Blair , does not mean we support fundmanentalist organisations that oppose him and Blair. There is a third way.  That is for workers of all countries to unite against the common enemies of exploitation , oppression and poverty and for an equal non exploitative society that neither Bush , Blair or Al Qaida for that matter have any intention of fighting for.
