RE: SOUTH EAST REGION EQUALITIES SEMINAR 2006 AT NUT HEADQUARTERS, LONDON, ON 7TH SEPTEMBER 2006

We have had 21 applicants for the Equalities Seminar that the SOG’s & Young Members Liaison Group and the Publicity & Campaigning Committee were intending to hold on 7th September 2006.

We think that we could get more applicants with more time and indeed would want to have more involved in this important and seminal event in the development of campaigning on equalities in the South East. Therefore, the Equalities Seminar is being cancelled on September 7th and put back to Wednesday 6th December 2006.

This means however, that we all now have to put in renewed effort to double, treble, quadruple attendance at the new date.

We regret disappointing those who have requested already to attend and trust that they will be able to make the new date.
