Regional Young Members' Forum Annual General Meeting
The Young Members' Forum normally holds its AGM in conjunction with its annual training weekend in July. Unfortunately the Weekend Event organised for this year had to be cancelled as it did not recruit enough participants to make it viable.
We are planning to organise the 2007 Young Members' Forum AGM by the end of April, rather than in July (exact date to be determined and forwarded to branches shortly). Elections for the 2007 positions will take place at the AGM in April.
What is the Young Member's Forum?
Branches are entitled to send up to 6 representatives, under the age of 26 to the AGM, in accordance with the principles of proportionality and fair representation. Branches can nominate up to two candidates (under the age of 26 and in accordance with the principles of proportionality and fair representation) for election to the South East Young Members Forum.
Please use this Young Members' Forum nomination form to nominate either yourself and/or up to 2 candidates to the Forum. Please complete the form and return it to the branch by 19 March 2007. However, it is preferable and more democratic to select nominees at the Surrey County Branch AGM on 17 January 2007. All nominated representatives will automatically be sent a Young Members pack giving full details of the Forum and also be entitled to attend the AGM and put themselves forward for the various seats up for election.
