Protest to take place outside Department of Health
Friday 15th December 5:30pm
- No Cuts! No Closures! No Privatisation! Save our NHS!
- Will include a visit from the “Ghost of NHS Christmas Past”, carol singers, mince pies & mulled wine!
Called by People United Saving Hospitals (PUSH) and Keep Our NHS Public as part of a nationally coordinated day of action against cuts, closures and privatisation and a step towards a national demonstration to defend the NHS early next year:
- Waltham Forest - people are being encouraged to join in a lunchtime protest outside their workplaces. The local National Union of Teachers has written to every school asking union members to do this. UNISON has asked library workers to do the same and the hospital trade unions are organising a protest at the Whipps Cross Hospital.
- Lunchtime protest meeting 12.30pm at the Snowsfields entrance of Guy's Hospital (nr. London Bridge, St Thomas Street, London SE1 9RT)
