The T&G/Eastbourne Centre is able to provide accommodation for both the seminar and the delegates. The hotel is near to the city centre, 15mins walk from the train station and other local amenities

Seminar Content

The seminar will provide an opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues affecting college members. As well as updates on the national negotiations and policy developments, there will be workshops and presentations on a range of issues such as: Job Evaluation, Equality, Stress, Leitch Review of Skills, Mergers and Governance. There will be a side meeting for Sixth Form delegates.

We wish to be as flexible as possible and will try to accommodate requests for side meetings or caucus groups. Delegates are asked on the PINK registration form to indicate if they would like to meet colleagues from the same occupational group. If there is sufficient demand, space and time will be made available for such meetings. Similarly, if any members of self-organised groups would like the opportunity to meet, this will be accommodated in the timetable. If any regions wish to meet, we will also try to meet this request.

This is your annual opportunity to meet as a sector and strengthen your organisation. The national committee is keen to ensure that we improve attendance.

Costs and Expenses 

The cost of the seminar, accomodation, meals in the centre and travel expenses will be met by the branch.

If delegates would like to bring their partner, the cost for this is £42 per night which includes bed and breakfast; or £49 to include Dinner. If partners would like dinner please make this clear on the registration form.

Childcare for delegates 

A crèche will be available and any delegates requiring this facility must indicate clearly on the registration form – an early response is much appreciated.

Please include on the form any access, dietary or other requirements.  Please PRINT the details on the forms as fully and clearly as possible.
