The 'One Step Ahead' programme is aimed at UNISON's more experienced representatives who last attended a course four or more years ago. The course provides an opportunity to get together with other representatives to share experiences, reflect on current practices and update you on changes in UNISON.

The course will cover how the context we work in has altered and how UNISON has responded to these changes; Best practice in representing members and using the 'UNISON guide to representation'. Dealing with issues in the workplace, including using a campaigning approach. Building a stringer branch and workplace organisation.
